A little peek at the newest addition to our Family....

Well...it's official! After two trying years...we are happy to announce that we are expecting a new addition to our family! We are finally pregnant! Due on or around January 14th, 2007....life as we know it is about to change we are certain! We are embarking on a journey that is completely new to us...and we are reminded of this everyday as we learn so many new things!!

We knew that getting pregnant would be a challenge for us, as I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in 2003. Without going into all of the medical details of PCOS, I will say that not ovulating and suffering with insulin resistance are the two that really impeded our desire to get pregnant. We started seeing a wonderful reproductive endocrinologist named Dr. Michael Sobel out of the Reproductive Science Institute in Wayne, PA...and on our first cycle with him....taaadaa....we're expecting!
